How building a cross-platform social media strategy for a nature YouTube channel grew the audience to 4,500 subscribers and generated over 109,000 video views within the first two months.
CHALLENGE
Nature’s Tabernacle was a newly launched YouTube channel focused on immersive nature ambience — designed to help viewers relax, reset, and reconnect with the outdoors.
While the creator was producing high quality long-form nature videos, they needed support translating that content into a broader social media strategy that could drive visibility and audience growth.

To grow the channel successfully, the brand needed a strategy that could extend the reach of their existing content while building a community around the calming experience of nature.
STRATEGY
The strategy centered around positioning Nature’s Tabernacle as a digital space for slowing down and reconnecting with nature, something increasingly valuable to audiences seeking moments of calm in a fast-paced digital world.
I developed a cross-platform content strategy designed to expand the reach of their long-form YouTube videos while building an engaged audience across social platforms. The approach centered on repurposing existing nature footage into short-form content optimized for discoverability on YouTube Shorts and TikTok, using these formats as entry points that guided viewers back to the channel’s longer immersive experiences.
I created and managed a structured content calendar to ensure consistent posting while aligning each piece of content with the brand’s calming and reflective tone. Captions and messaging were intentionally written to encourage viewers to slow down, take a moment to pause, and reconnect with nature, reinforcing the brand’s mission of providing a digital space for relaxation. Long-form videos were strategically edited into short clips optimized for each individual platform, that highlighted atmospheric moments designed to capture attention quickly and encourage viewers to explore the full video.
Community engagement also played an important role in the growth strategy. I actively responded to comments and interacted with viewers to create a welcoming community while signaling engagement to platform algorithms. Performance analytics were monitored regularly to identify high performing content and refine the strategy through tests and adjustments to the posting process, hashtags, and keyword optimization. Targeted promotion through strategic campaigns on Google Ads further supported visibility as the channel began to gain momentum.
